This is a quick recipe for Chocolate buttercream frosting that can be used on many cakes.

Yield: Frosting for Decadent Chocolate Layer Cake
1 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup of cocoa powder
450 grams of powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons of whole milk
1 teaspoons of real vanilla extract
- Mix the butter and cocoa powder in a large bowl until well blended.
- Add the powdered sugar and mix on low-speed until all of the sugar is combined.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract, if using, to reach desired consistency.
